Act of Self ConsecrationTake, O Lord, all my liberty, receive my memory, my understanding, and my whole will. All that I am and all that I have come to me from Thy bounty; I give it all back to thee, and surrender it all to the guidance of Thy holy Will. Give me Thy Love and Thy Grace; with these I am rich enough and ask for nothing more.
St Ignatius of Loyola (1491-1556)
I have an incredibly gorgeous doorstop of a book called 'Ignatius of Loyola - The Psychology of a Saint' by W.W. Meissner, S.J., M.D. (1992). It sits on my dresser shelf and teases me with it's dark demeanour and tiny font, and I'm half afraid to read it, because, what if, you know, I found out?
A sleeping satellite.
