Word for the day: eusplanqkhia (Greek) = 'maternal heart' or 'womb'. In Latin this word became 'patronage' - 'Sub tuum praesidium confugimus, sancta Dei Genitrix' - 'Under thy patronage we fly, holy Mother of God'. I like this space created by different languages, the different interpretations that are a simple product of enunciation through a different cultural time/sphere.
Blessed be The Secular Age.
